Application(s): Gas and glow planes up to 90" wingspan with 55cc motors. Ailerons, elevators, rudder, flaps, choke and throttle.

Comments: I've used these servos for the last 5 years and never had one fail. They've been in many crashes and they still work. Not the fastest. But for sport flying they are fine and high torque is more than you'll ever need.

Application(s): Robot Arm Gripper: Can anyone tell me the required current for this servo motor. I am using 1501mg digital servo. For long time I was not able to identify it. In the spec: it was given as 6 - 7.4V no details about current. Please help. Thank you

    Application(s): Robot arm

Comments: I bought about 10 piece of this servo. Good torque, speed, silence, but under high load (~15kg*cm) in one position during few minutes servo makes hot and damaged. After that, cooled servo electrically works, but motor needs a lot o power (and makes hot again) to change position in idle state! I think this is damage of gear, because axes of sprocket are placed in plastic, only main shaft has bearing. I damaged 3 servos in this way.

Application(s): I have not used the servo yet, but intend using it in a sub to operate the bellows for boyancy change.

Comments: The torque specified by all servos is kg/cm. ie, in this case, 17kg at 1cm, 8.5kg at 2cm, 4.25kg at 4cm.
You cannot expect the 17kg at the end of the longest servo arm provided.

    Application(s): Steering seevo

Comments: I've recently put this in my HPI Savage X 4.6 and so far it's brilliant! Not the fastest servo in the world but the torque is good and for the price it's brilliant! Let see how long it lasts!

    Application(s): elevator 50cc extra

Comments: Servo seems a lot slower than spec but has plenty of pull for the price.

Application(s): Steering servo, Losi Comp Crawler.

    Comments: Quality seems okay.
Potential opening for water where the cables come out of the case, otherwise seemingly water tight.

Unfortunately it isn't as strong as the manufacturer says...
Tested the strength at 6.0V by lifting weights at a 22mm arm.
    * 9 kg-cm had the servo working fine.
    * 11 kg-cm pulled the arm ~3 degrees off, but was able to hold still. Unable to lift the arm.
    * 13 kg-cm pulled the arm ~5 degrees off, but was able to hold still. Unable to lift the arm.

    Application(s): Used for my E-MAXX 3906

Comments: Seems to be working much better then the stock 2055 traxxas servo.
Durability.. time will tell - maybe something eles will give..

    a bit noisy with jitter.

Application(s): 1/10 scale crawler steering servo

Comments: Being my first crawler build, I am pleased with its performance. It has really good torque in my opinion; it will steer precisely while supporting the full weight on the front end no problem and sounds good doing it. Price to performance gives it 5. Longevity still to be determined. Recommended for 18 bucks.
