    Application(s): 1/10th, 1/8th, 1/5th throttle/brake servo 1/10th, 1/8th steering servo

Comments: I've been using this servo for many years. I bought my first one for a savage for t/b use due to it having o-rings on the output shaft to keep water out. I can't say how long ago that was, at least 10 years, but I still have the servo in use today in my savage X for t/b. I've used it in a few trucks since the first savage and it works great still to this day.

I currently have one in my X for t/b, one in my brushless revo for steering, two in my big block revo, 1 for steering, 1 for t/b and I think I put one in my savage flux for steering.

Has always been a very long life and durable servo for me.

Application(s): T-Maxx, Rustler VXL, Axial Scorpion, Tamiya DF03ra, Aquacraft SV27

Comments: Everyone that is having problems with this servo is guaranteed trying to use them with a digital radio. This is not a digital servo and works FANTASTIC when used with an appropriate analog radio. When hooked up to any digital radio it immediately starts to shudder and glitch out. User error should not be mistaken for a poor quality product. I own 2 of these servos and both have been strong and reliable. A nice upgrade over many stock servos

    Application(s): Throttle& brake Baja 5b

Comments: worst servo i have ever had. It constantly chatters when apying brakes. Will not properly stop my Baja 5b. Last week the servo stuck in full throttle position and i had a run away 20 lb tire peeling dirt ripping monster that i had to pounce on to stop it. The tuned pipe got busted as a result not to mention i had a bunch of skin burned off my knee from the rear tire. This servo is a real piece of s***. I don't suppose Hi Tec would be interested in replacing my $175 tuned pipe ??.

    Application(s): Associated SC8e

Comments: I use a Futaba 4PL radio and a RX8 esc with this servo. I got this servo with the SC8e as I bought it used. Otherwise I would of never considered this servo in this truck. I am very impressed how well it performs. I have beat this truck bad. 30 foot jumps,5s speed runs street and bumpy dirt all the time. The steering works great and is very stable. Plenty fast for this truck. I dont feel held back at all using this servo. My truck is also very heavy. I would say close or over 10 lbs with the battery. I also own Hitec 645, 5995, 7950 and 7980. Overall I'm surprised it works this good.

    Application(s): Large rc planes

Comments: This is a superb servo - possibly the best analog standard-size servo in the world? The torque is sky high, the centering is excellent, it is fast ... basically everything you could possibly want in a servo. But so it should be: after all it is Hitec's most expensive standard-size servo, so they have built the best of everything into this one.

    Application(s): baha 5b

Comments: low torque for braking , chatters, and just recently smoked it from over braking.

Application(s): Throttle and brake servo on a HPI Baja 5b

Comments: Servo operates fine in one direction, but poorly in the other. Constant chattering when in brake direction and sometimes it will not travel to full brake. Very unreliable for operation of the brakes. I can't trust it to stop a $900 vehicle. Piece of junk !!
