Application(s): In alllocations on aerobatic models

Comments: I have flown these for several years in many models and have had at least 20 of them. Never had a failure

Application(s): its for the thortel for a car

Comments: i have now brought twp hs-311's and i have had the same problem with both of them they work for about 3-4 min then they lock open which means the car is running at full speed.

    Application(s): Elevator Servo

Comments: I am new to model planes and had an instructor help me set everything up. he took it up for its maiden voyage and everything was going fine until we started to come back in. The Elevators failed and the Brand new plan smashed into the ground thanks Hitec!!!!

Application(s): Aileron, Rudder, Throttle, Elevator .60 WM Super Chipmunk

Comments: Terrible. Just lost my favorite plane due to elevator servo failure, in flight. Servos are only 1 month old.

Application(s): Elevator and Rudder Servo For .40 Sized Nitro Sport Airplane

Comments: I used these servos and I was impressed with the Hardware that it came with and the servo arm it had was adjustable which in my opinion was great. Better rubber grommets (rubber cushions that help minimize vibration damage) than the Futaba S3004 since the 3004s can fall out easily and can get lost since they're so small but the Hitecs are a really tight fit and are 1 piece not 2 like the 3004s. With all that said, I thought this would be a great servo but I stood corrected. The ground test was fine and everything seemed to go well but then I took the plane up and lost elevator control! Rudder was still working and the Ailerons which had S3004 servo was still working but without elevator, you're helpless. I think if you plan on putting this servo on an ARF that has tight hinging, work them in REALLY GOOD to use this servo or just go with better Hitec Bearing servos or Futaba S3004s.

    Application(s): Larger planes

Comments: These are better than you would think considering the low price. They are strong, extremely reliable, and highly resistant to stripping just because the gears are so big. Often you don't need anything fancier.

Application(s): Elevons on Combat Wings XE2.

Comments: Perfectly decent servos, no real issues. They are a bit noisy like most servos. I crashed the hell out of the wing repeatedly, they never broke or seemed to have an issue as a result, pretty darn solid.
