  • Rating:

    Application(s): 450 helicopter

Comments: Gears are tough, held up in many crashes. Did develop gear slop after a few flights.
these are tall servos, need to mount inboard for 450 pro, like the original trex 450. or else get the Tarot one piece mount which moves the servo in.

    Application(s): Swash for HK250GT FBL

Comments: This review is based on the assumption that these servos are the same as the HK-D922MG (which is what I have actually used). I put them on the swash for my FBL-converted HK250GT. Had quite some problems with instability, had to reduce both proportional and differential gains (on roll and pitch) on my ZYX-S to stop the heli from oscillating, which it did mostly in the roll plane . Still not happy with the stability. They are quite tall also, so cannot mount the canopy on one side of the 250 (same with my T-Rex450 where I just dry-fitted them to check). Will not purchase more of these.

Application(s): Cyclic on 450 Pro heli

Comments: Having had a decent experience with Henge 933's, I bought these thinking they might work even better on my 450, being supposedly faster. On my servo tester, however, they showed the same humble 0.13s @ 6v, which is definitely nothing special. Worse, they had a lot of gear backlash. In use, they sound noisy.

In flight, I had to reduce gain on my CX 3x1000 FBL controller to stop a cyclic shake, compared to the setting that worked using Henge 933's.

Like the 933's, the cases are fragile, with the mounting lugs breaking off in even a minor crash or even a hard landing.

I give them a three star rating due to the slow speed, gear slop and fragile cases, the only redeeming factor being the low price.
