Application(s): Just about to replace one of these in my vintage RC car. A Mardave meteor I built with my uncle in about 1989-1990. Servo still works but it's got a little sloppy

Comments: It was a great servo in its day (the early 90s), now it's just an old servo that still works well enough to steer my car round a track after 30 yrs. I hope futabas new stuff lasts this long.

Application(s): Rudder servo on Yamaha Round the World RC Yacht 1 meter boat

Comments: This servo has performed perfectly for over ten years. Using a Futaba S3801 for the sail servo. Same report- could not ask for better performance

  • Biomecanoid

    February 19, 2017

    Application(s): Steering Servo

Comments: I had this servo on my Kyosho Raider PRO, the car died due to lack of spare parts but the 2 Futaba servos on the steering and mechanical speed control live on. A bit short of 30 years old and still fully functional

    Application(s): all airplane, heli throttle

Comments: super servo of its time still using some. I thing this was one of the last hand assembled servos Futaba made
