Notes
- The discontinued Blue Bird BMS-620MG is the rugged, up-armored version of the popular BMS-620 standard-sized analog servo. It takes the same powerful motor and reliable analog electronics and pairs them with a full, all-metal gear (MG) train. This simple but critical upgrade transforms the servo from a budget-friendly sport actuator into a durable, high-torque workhorse capable of handling much more demanding applications. It is an excellent choice for the control surfaces on larger sport and scale aircraft, and it truly shines as a tough, reliable steering servo for 1/10 and 1/8 scale RC trucks and buggies.
- The defining feature of the BMS-620MG is its toughness. The metal gears provide a massive increase in durability and resistance to stripping compared to the standard nylon gears. This is especially important in an off-road RC car, where the steering servo is constantly being jolted by bumps, jumps, and collisions. The metal gears can absorb this punishment and continue to provide reliable steering, flight after flight, or run after run. This durability makes it an incredibly popular and cost-effective upgrade for anyone looking to improve the reliability of their larger model or vehicle.
- In robotics, the BMS-620MG’s combination of high torque and high durability makes it a very versatile and valuable component. It is strong enough for the primary joints of a medium-to-large robot and tough enough to withstand the rigors of real-world interaction. It's an excellent choice for the drive or weapon systems on a 12lb "hobbyweight" combat robot. It is also a great actuator for student robotics projects in a classroom setting, where its ability to withstand abuse is a major asset. It's a simple, powerful, and tough actuator for a wide range of robotics tasks.

Comments: Deception...
When I got it, I've been impressed by its look and the feeling of quality - and it was very cheap, even if chinese crap is cheaper...
Speed, torque, precision were very good too! I didn't recognize my beetle! But the dream didn't last long : total extinction after a while.
And now, it re-functions... but how to make confidence toward it?
