Notes
- The discontinued Batan B1226 is a versatile and reliable standard-sized servo that offers a great balance of performance, durability, and value. It's a true 'jack-of-all-trades' that can be used in a wide variety of applications, from RC cars and trucks to aircraft and boats. The B1226 features a strong and durable metal gear train that is built to withstand the rigors of everyday use. This makes it a great choice for the steering and throttle on 1/10 scale monster trucks and buggies, where it can handle the bumps and jumps of off-road driving with ease. It's also a good option for the control surfaces of sport aircraft and trainers, providing a good combination of torque and speed for general-purpose flying.
- One of the standout features of the B1226 is its waterproof design. This makes it an ideal choice for use in RC boats, where exposure to water is a constant concern. The servo's seals and gaskets help to protect its internal components from moisture, ensuring a long and reliable service life. This waterproof construction also makes the B1226 a good choice for use in RC cars and trucks that are frequently driven in wet or muddy conditions.
- In the world of robotics, the B1226's waterproof design and durable construction make it a great option for outdoor projects, such as an autonomous lawnmower or a weather-monitoring station. Its standard size and easy-to-use interface make it a straightforward addition to any project. Overall, the Batan B1226 is a solid and dependable servo that offers a great combination of features and performance at an affordable price.

Application(s): Sailwinch.
Comments: I used the B1226 in 2014 as a sailwinch on a project with 14 model Skûtsjes, 120 cm long semi scale sailboats.
All 14 servo's work flawlessly up to this day.
I don't recognize the issues mentioned above.
Regards, Jan.
