Notes
- The discontinued E-Sky EK2-0508 is another of E-Sky's widely used 8-gram class rotary servos, serving as the factory-installed actuator on a huge number of their beginner-friendly coaxial and fixed-pitch helicopters. This servo is the driving force behind the stable and forgiving flight characteristics that made models like the E-Sky Lama V4 so successful. It is engineered to work in perfect harmony with the stock E-Sky electronics, delivering a smooth, predictable, and gentle control response that is ideal for a pilot's first experience with RC flight. Its primary purpose is to be a reliable, direct-fit replacement part to keep these classic helicopters flying.
- The identity of the EK2-0508 is that of the trusted, original equipment component. It is the servo that was designed for the helicopter, and as such, it is the best choice for any repair. Using the EK2-0508 guarantees that the control linkages will fit perfectly and that the helicopter's handling will be restored to its famously stable, easy-to-fly state. It is a component valued not for breaking performance barriers, but for reliably providing the performance that made these helicopters so popular in the first place.
- For the robotics hobbyist, the EK2-0508 is an excellent source of a durable and extremely low-cost sub-micro servo. Its mass production for the helicopter market means it is widely available and built to a consistent standard. It is a fantastic choice for building a large, multi-servo robot like a hexapod on an absolute minimum budget, or for outfitting a STEM classroom with enough actuators for every student."

Application(s): small 061 engined aircraft
Comments: i had originally used analog version of this servo in many of my 061 powered aircraft with no problems i aquired 12 of the digital ek2-0508 and so far destroyed two of my most recent models took a while to work out that these were the problem there is a fault with electronics in them breifly going to full deflection my advice to anyone else is do not use them they will fail in your ic plane or electric helicopter would like to hear views of other people regarding this servo

Application(s): Esky 400 size CP3
Comments: Easily survive 7 crashes with bended feather shaft. Still works.
Also being installed on t-rex 250 instead of stock ds410 survived a crash when link is broken, but servo still alive. Stock ones gears of hard plastic on ds410 surely take damage in such conditions.

Application(s): Rotor head for eSky Honey Bee Version Two Fixed Pitch
Comments: These seem to be not very precise and are quite noisy and definitely extremely fragile. The gears strip very easily. On the plus side, they're cheap. It is possible to open them up and rotate the gears around to an unstripped area if your application only requires a limited range of motion. Search YouTube for EK2-0508 servo repair if you need.
