Notes
- The Dymond D47 is a high-quality analog pico-class servo that has become a staple for builders of lightweight and micro-sized aircraft. Weighing in at just 4.7 grams, it is a versatile and reliable performer, perfectly suited for a wide range of applications, from indoor foamies and park flyers to small gliders. The D47 is particularly praised for its exceptionally smooth gear train and precise, consistent centering—hallmarks of the Dymond brand's commitment to quality, even in their smallest servos. This makes it a favorite among builders who value a refined feel and predictable performance from their components.
- The essence of the D47 is its role as a high-quality, general-purpose pico servo. It offers a fantastic balance of low weight, good power, and reliable operation. While many servos in this class focus solely on being cheap, the D47 focuses on being good, and has earned a loyal following because of it. It is the servo that experienced builders choose when they are constructing a small model and want a component they can install with confidence, knowing it will provide a smooth and trouble-free flight experience.
- For robotics projects that require small, lightweight, and reliable actuators, the D47 is an excellent choice. Its quality construction makes it a good option for small robotic manipulators or sensor platforms that need to be both lightweight and reasonably precise. It is a step up in quality from many generic pico servos, making it a smart choice for any compact project where reliability and smooth operation are important.

Application(s): i used and still use the Diamond D47 on my FireFly from https://www.microbirds.com, it actually has alot more torque than required by the glider, love my D47, thank you Lee
Comments: best micro servos in the market hands down.

Application(s): now > 2 years use for both flaperons and elevator in a binary 900 DLG (900mm span)
Comments: have behaved faultlessly at 2s, and later at 1s in the same airframe; have survived a structural fault that snapped the wing and remain intact and continue to perform great service

Application(s): Dreamflight Libelle DLG
Comments: I had two Dreamflight servos out of four on my new Libelle break (Gears) and replaced with the Diamonds - no problem, same dimensions (no cutting required) ad worked perfectly (didn't even need to re set anything on my DX9 controller).
very Happy with Diamond. Not happy with the Dreamflight servos (but it has to be said, very happy with the Libelle).

Application(s): DLG ailerons, rudder and elevator
Comments: Have stripped 2 aileron D47s after separate hard landings. Rudder and elevator are fine.
Great servo, very thin and low (protruding above the mount tabs) but not tough enough for my rough handling.
