Notes
- The Corona DS-928BB is a premium version of the popular DS-928 digital servo, enhancing its performance with the addition of a smooth and precise ball bearing (BB) on the output shaft. This servo is designed for the hobbyist who wants to maximize the precision of their digital control system. The ball bearing provides a rigid, low-friction support for the output shaft, which virtually eliminates side-to-side play and results in a servo that centers with exceptional accuracy. This makes the DS-928BB a superb choice for more demanding applications, such as the cyclic controls on a 450-class helicopter or the ailerons on a small aerobatic plane where a slop-free, high-fidelity response is key to performance.
- The essence of the DS-928BB is its combination of digital accuracy and mechanical precision. The digital controller provides the smarts, while the ball bearing provides the smooth, slop-free mechanicals to match. This results in a servo that feels incredibly precise and connected, allowing pilots to execute maneuvers with a higher degree of accuracy and confidence. The ball bearing also increases the servo's lifespan by reducing wear, ensuring that this high level of precision is maintained over many flights. It represents the next level of refinement for budget-conscious performance seekers.
- In robotics, the DS-928BB is an outstanding choice for applications where positional accuracy is critical. It is ideal for building small, stable camera gimbals, precise sensor-scanning platforms, or the joints of a small robotic arm where repeatable, accurate movements are essential. For any robotics project where a high degree of precision is required from a compact and affordable actuator, the DS-928BB offers a superior level of mechanical performance.

Rating:
Application(s): Elevator, rudder, aileron, flaps. On a Glider
Comments: 6 out of 6 jittered real bad on Servo checker. Put them on a RS7008SB receiver and 14SG futaba radio (brand new) same result. I’m glad I checked these before installing. PURE JUNK.

Rating:
Application(s): I installed 4 of these into a 1m wingspan 3D parkflyer, one on each control surface.
Comments: One aileron servo and the elevator servo start vibrating furiously the first time you move the sticks and return them to neutral. I've tried different TX/RX combinations but the vibration remains. The movement at the trailing edge of the control surface is ±10mm which makes the model unflyable. These servos are a waste of money, Junk IMO!
