Notes
- The discontinued Blue Bird BMS-373MG takes the high-speed, coreless motor performance of the BMS-373 platform and fortifies it with the brute strength of a metal gear (MG) train. This creates a servo that is an absolute powerhouse, designed for the most abusive and demanding 9-gram class applications. It is the ultimate choice for pilots who fly with extreme aggression and need a servo that is not only lightning-fast but also virtually indestructible. Prime examples include the cyclic controls on a "smack" 3D 450-class helicopter, where the servos are subjected to violent loads and intense vibration, or the control surfaces of a combat-oriented flying wing that is expected to make contact with other aircraft.
- The defining characteristic of the BMS-373MG is its fusion of extreme speed and uncompromising toughness. The coreless motor provides the instantaneous response needed for violent 3D maneuvers, while the metal gears provide the assurance that the servo will survive the ordeal. This gives pilots the freedom to fly without mechanical sympathy, knowing their control system is the strongest link in the chain. It’s a servo that completely removes any doubt about durability, allowing the pilot to focus solely on pushing the limits of their aircraft and their own skill.
- For roboticists, particularly those involved in combat robotics, the BMS-373MG is a dream component. Its combination of coreless speed and metal gear resilience makes it one of the best possible choices for a weapon or drive actuator in the 1lb to 3lb weight classes. It can power a devastatingly fast flipper or spinner and has the durability to withstand the brutal impacts of the arena. For any small robotics project that will be subjected to extreme physical abuse, the BMS-373MG offers a level of performance and toughness that is hard to match.

Application(s): Trx4 t lock
Comments: Bought 2 to replace the T-Lock servos in my Trx4, on initial test they worked perfectly. After complete re assembly of the Trx4 the wouldn’t respond. Very disappointed!

Rating:
Application(s): Traxxas Summit, gear shift, front and rear diff lock servos.
Comments: Amazing replacement of the stock 2065 traxxas servo. Metal gears ensure no stripping like the stock ones. Torque is not really impressive. But it shifts and locks my diffs. One of the few servos that can fit the summit and offer MG. Really happy with them. Also dirt cheap.
