Notes
- The discontinued Ace RC C1016 micro servo is a versatile and reliable choice for discerning hobbyists working on small-scale projects where precision and durability are paramount. Engineered for small electric airplanes and helicopters, the C1016 distinguishes itself with a robust construction featuring impact-resistant materials, ensuring it can withstand the rigors of frequent use and unexpected mishaps. The inclusion of a ball bearing provides smoother operation and a longer lifespan compared to bushing-equipped servos in its class, contributing to its reputation for consistent and dependable performance. This makes it an excellent option for controlling critical flight surfaces in park flyers, small gliders, and micro-helicopters where accuracy is key to a stable and enjoyable flight experience. The C1016’s compatibility with a range of 1/18 scale vehicles, including the popular Team Associated RC18 series, showcases its adaptability beyond aviation, making it a go-to servo for micro-car enthusiasts seeking a responsive and reliable steering or throttle control solution.
- At its core, the C1016 is powered by a high-torque motor that delivers a surprising amount of power for its diminutive size, enabling it to actuate control surfaces with authority and precision. This responsive performance, combined with its durable build, instills confidence in the user, whether they are executing precise aerobatic maneuvers or navigating a challenging off-road course. The universal connector ensures broad compatibility with a wide array of receivers, making it a convenient drop-in replacement or upgrade for many stock RTR vehicles and aircraft. For robotics engineers and makers, the C1016’s compact footprint and reliable performance make it an attractive option for a variety of small-scale robotic applications, from actuating grippers and sensors to controlling the limbs of a miniature walking robot. Its blend of performance, durability, and versatility makes the Ace RC C1016 a standout choice in the micro servo category, offering exceptional value for its price.

Rating:
Application(s): mini titan e325 2.4G SC cyclic servos they came with the rtf
Comments: The performance seems ok for basic flying. They are not durable at all it's always the top gear that the teeth strip the rest of the gears always seem ok but I change them all when I rebuild the servos. It doesn't take much I had know blade strikes or hard crash I was hovering a few inches off of my living room floor and the gear stripped a section of teeth some how.
