Application(s): I ordered 18 pieces of this servo for a hexapod walking robot. They were counterfeit, so I ordered another 18 servos and wasted a lot of money.

Comments: Actually I can't tell how the original servo works, as I got counterfeit servos, that were jittering a lot. I researched on this issue and found out, that TowerPro often is vicitm of counterfeit products. On this site they show how to tell counterfeit and original servos apart: https://vorpalrobotics.com/wiki/index.php/Tower_Pro_MG90S_Vs._Clones
Be aware that your electronics dealer asures selling only original parts he receives from the manufacturer!

Application(s): Arduino Fun with kids / robotics

Comments: To get it to rotate the full 180 degrees I had to experiment a little, here's what worked - in setup use this:
myservo.attach(9,550,1500); //then in loop use the servo.write(n) for degees 0-180

Application(s): Numerous robotics projects, e.g. pair used for robot claw. Google Sidmouth Robots for more info.

Comments: The genuine ones are brilliant; powerful, consistent and reliable, but this is the most-faked servo ever, so be very sure of your supplier.

Application(s): I intended servos for T-28 Basic rudder etc.

Comments: In October 2018 I received a Banggood order of 5 servos, all of which are defective. I am guessing the pots are bad as the servos jitter and certain positions and cycle as though there is sand in the gears. I also bought 4 on ebay and one was missing the main bushing on output gear. I cannot comment on reliability.

    Application(s): Ailerons,Flaps,Rudder on gliders

Comments: I think tge genuine TowerPro servos are likely very good. However, beware of fakes. I bought 6 of these on eBay for low cost. Whilst they work well enough. The torque seems very low and the first two gears in the train are plastic. Also they are analogue (should be digital). I'm sure they are fake. I got full refund when I challenged the seller. So be aware guys! Buy from reputable vendors only!

    Application(s): Cyclic on TREX 450 V2

Comments: These servos weigh 13,07grams with horn and wire, the metal gear train is all metal from motor shaft to output for servo horn. All three hold center very well and they are quick.

    Application(s): Swashplate 450 fbl Helicopter

Comments: The servo don't last very long I'm having trouble getting the zero alinement.

    Application(s): Flaps on Phoenix 2000 2M glider

Comments: Considering replacing all servos with these. They're fairly light weight for metal geared servo and perform great - no noise, fast, no complaints so far.
